Musician Magazine Layout

For my digital media design class we were asked to design a multi-page magazine spread on the musician of our choice. I went with the artist Khalid, who is known for his R&B and hip-hop style. We had to organize typographic and visual imagery into a cohesive design for publication to a wide demographic.

I wanted to include bright colors that reflect Khalid’s personal style and would often be displayed at his concerts. For the quotes I chose the script typeface that he uses on his albums to give the layout a narrative feel.
